Environmental substainability

Education Sessions

Green roof program is started at No115-119 Kweilin Street Sham Shui Po. An introductory session of planting is arranged for all grassroots members, what is environmental substainability and how to start with their living.

Volunteer in Duty Service

We recruit beneficiaries to become volunteers in the center, allowing them to transition from being recipients of services to service providers. They assist staff in various center-related tasks, including member reception, handling inquiries, and leading activities. Regular volunteer training and social events are organized to enhance volunteer cohesion and skills.

Policy Advocacy Groups

To empower grassroots members, we establish various policy concern groups based on their specific needs and experiences. These groups include Two-way permit holder (Single parent) concern Group, Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) concern Group, Women’s Health concern Group, SEN Policy concern Group, Women’s Employment concern Group, and Two-way permit holder concern Group etc. By gathering members with similar experiences, these groups provide a platform for mutual support and information sharing, enabling members to stay updated and support one another and advocate for environmental substainability together.

Online Little Pioneers

To encourage grassroots children and their families to unleash their creativity and potential at home, making good use of information technology and the internet, we offer five programs:

“Holiday Adventures,”
“Junior Master Chef at Home,”
“Get Active Every Day,”
“Read and Enjoy,”
“I’m a Genius.”

These programs aim to promote positive development in the areas of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, teamwork, and aesthetics.
