We are now looking for the committed person for the following post:
Community Organizer
(Inadequately-housed & social housing households)
- conduct community work at urban slums;
- organize the low-income and inadequately housed households for policy & service reform;
- provide emergent direct service for individuals and families in need and other marginalized groups;
- please state the target community whom you would like to serve in your application.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder of any discipline, or holder of Diploma of Social Work; Registered Social Worker preferred; commit to policy advocacy and serve the underprivileged with critical mind and passion; ability to work under pressure; good team-work spirit; understand and support the mission of SoCO; duties on Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays required.

Community Organizer
(Persons-in-recovery and other marginalized groups)
- conduct community work at urban slums;
- provide casework and social services for persons-in-recovery, the homeless and other marginalized groups at urban slums;
- conduct policy research to identify community needs;
- organize the persons-in-recovery for policy and service reform;
- provide emergent direct service for individuals & families in need.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree holder of any discipline, or holder of Diploma of Social Work; Registered Social Worker preferred; experience of serving the persons-in-recovery, the homeless and other marginalized groups preferred; commit to policy advocacy and serve the underprivileged with critical mind and passion; ability to work under pressure; good team-work spirit; understand and support the mission of SoCO; duties on Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays required.
